Valorant’s closed beta finds a date
Valuable, the tactical and competitive FPS developed by Riot Games (League of Legends) has just dated its closed beta which will therefore be available on April 7 on PC in Europe, as in the United States, Canada, Russia and Turkey.
Riot has not yet advanced to communicate a precise time for this launch but indicates however that more countries should invite themselves to dance in the long term, even if this parameter will also depend on the technical problems linked to the pandemic of COVID-19.
In the meantime, the curious weary of Counter Strike can already try to receive an invitation by following three simple steps:
- Create a Riot account.
- Link your Riot account to your Twitch account.
- Watch specific streams from Valorant’s closed beta featured on Twitch.
As the developers point out, the number of people who can be accommodated “will depend on the current capacity of the server”. A detail that should not put players off, however, since despite this restriction, these reception capacities are bound to evolve over time.
For the rest, given its release date, still scheduled for summer 2020, Valorant should not last forever in beta, but enough however for a store to open its doors. Rest assured: if neither the progression nor the skins are kept, all the VALORANT Points purchased with your pennies will be returned to you at the end of the full game, with the bonus of a 20% bonus.
